Call Center entrepreneurs visited the UFM

The visitors at the UFM’s Central Garden.

A group of businessmen from the call center industry visited Universidad Francisco Marroquín to get acquainted with the campus and the technology that is available here to the students.

Last January 22nd of 2007 the group came invited by Invest in Guatemala, an agency dedicated to facilitate the business opportunities in the country.

The visitors were received by UFM’s General Secretary, Ricardo Castillo A.; and by the treasurer, Ramon Parellada, who welcomed them and explain them the mission of the University that is to teach and diffuse the ethical, legal and economic principles of a society of free and responsible persons.

On the other hand, the director of the
Ludwig von Mises Library, Grete Pasch, showed them some of the technological resources available in that unit and those available at the
New Media Digital Resources Center.

When concluding the presentations the visitors took a tour through the Academic Building and the Central Garden of the campus.
