Christopher Welna, of Kellog Institute, in the UFM

Pedro Trujillo, Carroll de Rodriguez and Christopher Welna previous to its meeting in the UFM.

In order to evaluate a project to obtain scholarships for Central American, educational and investigating young people, in the Notre Dame University, Christopher Welna, of the Kellog Institute for International Studies of that house of studies, visited the University Francisco Marroquín.

In the UFM he met with Pedro Trujillo, director of the Institute of Political Studies and International Relations and with Carroll de Rodriguez to interchange ideas about the project.

According to the project, Notre Dame contributes to the access to its library and the informal interchange with claustro interdisciplinary of around 60 people; and the idea is to enrich to the institution that it sends to the scholarship holder, so that the professional returns to the same one; between the high-priority subjects for the proposal they are the poverty, the commerce and the study of the weak democratic institutions, among others.

During its stay in the UFM, Friday 9 of September of 2005, Welna visited the Academic Building and its ala socrática, the Center of Digital Resources New Media and the Library Ludwig von Mises.
