Dean from a nicaraguan University, at the UFM

Giancarlo Ibárgüen S., UFM´s president with Omar Aragón 

Omar Aragón Cárdenas, dean of Humanities in the Catholic University Redemptoris Mater, of Nicaragua, visited the Francisco Marroquín University on Wednesday February 15th of 2006.

Aragón, whose visit looks forward to establish academic collaboration in areas like Medicine, Economy and Business Administration, was received by the UFM´s President, Giancarlo Ibárgüen S.

During the interview, President Ibárgüen exposed the UFM´s
mission  that is, the education and diffusion of ethical, legal and economic principles of a society of free and responsible persons.  After interchanging ideas and possibilities, the Director and the Dean went to the Ludwig von Mises Library to visit the rare book collection of Jose Cecilio del Valle, Central America´s founding father.

Later, Aragón visited New Media, the Popol Vuh Museum, and the Socratic wing of the Academic Building at the UFM.
