Directives of Liceo Julio Verne, at the UFM

Laurent Vidal, Pierre Rouquairol, Fernando Batres and Adolfo Lau, at the UFM Business School.

Accompanied by Adolo Lau, ex Dean of the School of Architecture of Universidad Francisco Marroquín, directors of Liceo Julio Verne visited the UFM’s School of Businesses.

Laurent Vidal, president of the board of directors of the Liceo; Pierre Rouquairol, director; and Fernando Batres, technical adviser, visited the facilities that were designed with the pedagogical objective of promoting learning, in contrast with teaching, explained Lau, who is the architect of the campus.

They visited the interactive amphitheatres, the Socratic halls, auditoriums, information technology facilities, administrative offices and the cafeteria.

They observed the configuration of the facilities, the equipment they have, the furniture and the way in which everything helps to achieve the pedagogical objectives, added Lau.

During the visit they changed impressions with Juan Carlos Lopez, director of the Center of Advanced Technologies, about the technology equipment and the possibility of arriving at some collaboration formulas between the two educative organizations.    Liceo Julio Verne is in the process of planning their new campus in the road to El Salvador.
