FCE students at the Excellence Center

In this workshop they practiced high ropes dynamics

As part of the Management Leadership course, a group of 60 Business students from the School of Economic Sciences at Universidad Francisco Marroquín, participated in a workshop organized by the Excellence Center of this house of studies.

The workshop, where they practiced high ropes, was held last July 13th of 2007; the group was divided in two.  The workshop facilitators were Rodrigo Pérez, Karina Bonilla and Carla de Hess, director of the Center.

Some comments of the participants were:

I experienced something completely different.I was very excited to try the high ropes.It helped me overcome some fears.It really helped me to increase my confidence zone.It was excitingThe adrenalin rush was excellent!Very well organized and really safe.Interesting and unorthodox.The Excellence Center is an educational project directed to UFM students and external persons to contribute to their integral education and the development of their teamwork and leadership skills, explained Carla de Hess.

The Excellence Center facilities are located in a hill behind the Ludwig von Mises Library and comprise the UFM’s
Arboretum. More than 3,000 persons have received workshops that include ropes dynamics at the University, including students, professors and administrative personnel of this house of studies; as well as students from other institutions and business collaborators.
