A group of 10 lawyers, students of the Masters in Finance and Taxes, at the School of Businesses of Universidad Francisco Marroquín, participated in a workshop organized by the UFM’s Center of Excellence.

The facilitators were Irene Pazos; and Carla de Hess, director of the Center.  It was celebrated last March 24th of 2007.

The opinions regarding the event were:

It was liberating. You build confidence in yourself and the other partners. It showed us in a very practical way several values that we must keep in mind, not only at the master degree, but in the life.It changed a lot my way of thinking. It made us know our classmates and to work as a team.Excellent, we were able to know our classmates and break the ice.The Excellence Center is an educative project directed to UFM students and external people in order to contribute to their integral education, developing teamwork and leadership abilities, explained Carla de Hess, director of the Center.

The facilities of the Excellence Center are in a hill behind the Ludwig von Mises Library and comprise the UFM’s
Arboretum. More than 3.000 people they have received workshops that include ropes dynamics in the University, including students, educational and administrative personnel of this house of studies; as well as students from other institutions and collaborator companies.
