The new board of directors of the Asociación de Estudiantes de Derecho (Law Students Association), of the School of Law of Universidad Francisco Marroquín, was conformed last February 27th of 2007, during an act attended by students, professors and authorities of the School and the University.

The students Hugo Morán, president; Alfredo Skinner-Klee, vice-president; Alvaro Hurtado, treasurer; Christian Skinner-Klee, secretary; and Caterina Olivero, Gregorio Osuna and Jorge Luis Rodas, vocals; integrate the new board of directors.

ADE’s purpose is to foment the coexistence of law students through different activities that respond to their interests and needs. Our intention is not to leave behind the positive aspects that previous associations left us, but on the contrary to pursuit them, taking advantage of the wide margin for improvement that they have left, as well as to change others and develop new ideas, explained Morán.

During the act, the former board donated to the UFM’s President, Giancarlo Ibárgüen S., a check for Q5,000 for the program Impulso al Talento Academico (ITA).
