A lot of 69 books, with an approximated value of Q18,400, was donated to the Ludwig von Mises Library by the School of Law, both of Universidad Francisco Marroquín.

Last April 16th of 2007 Dean Milton Estuardo Argueta gave the books to the director of the Library, Grete Pasch, in the presence of UFM’s President, Giancarlo Ibárgüen S.

«The books are on subjects such as General Theory of Law, Introduction to the Study of Law, Procedural Law and Penal Law, among others.  Some of the titles are already in the collection, but we have requested duplicates due to the high demand that they have», explained Dean Argueta.  Pasch and Ibárgüen thanked for the donation.

The books are acquired with funds of the School of Law; as part of their annual work plan the School budgets a specific sum for the acquisition of books of Law for the Ludwig von Mises Library, and these are given to the library for the use and consults of all its users.
