The team members at the ropes workshop

A group of 40 members of Bosques Altamira participated in a series of ropes dynamics and conferences given by the Excellence Center of the Francisco Marroquín University.

The workshop started with a lecture on teamwork by Sergio Enríquez, vicedean of the UFM’s Business School.

Afterwards, the participants went to the ropes mountain to feel and experience the learned concepts with ropes dynamics.  With the objective of expanding the comfort zone, the participants had the opportunity to perform high ropes dynamics.  It was an incredible group, compromised and capable of overcoming obstacles and accepting challenges.

The team had luch at the student´s center terrace; in the afternoon they participated in a sounds workshop to explore other teamwork aspects.  The closure was headed by Alvaro Andrade, representative of Bosques Altamira.

Congratulations to the team for allowing us to attain a goal: to value teamwork.I think it’s a dynamic workshop where you can learn a lot.It is excessively motivating, I learned a lot.These activities are very important; they show us that everything is easier if we are united.It is a very dynamic and entertained workshop.The sounds workshop was very interesting, we hadn’t done that, it was really good.The Excellence Center has a ropes camp facility on the hill behind the Ludwig von Mises Library that also comprises the UFM´s
Arboretum. More than 2,000 persons have received workshops that include ropes dynamics, including students, educational and administrative personnel of this house of studies; as well as students from other institutions and companies.

The Excellence Center is an educational project directed to UFM students and external persons to contribute to their integral education developing their teamwork abilities and leadership.
