UFM student host team knows projects

The host team met at the UFM’s School of Business

The team of student hosts of Universidad Francisco Marroquín met to get informed about this semester’s projects.

The first theme discussed was the participation in the hosts team and other administrative matters; they were also informed about other activities and projects of the UFM Presidency, Admissions and the Henry Hazlitt Center.

This group of 80 students participate as hosts at the University, they are coordinated by Mayra Ramírez, UFM’s President assistant. Host students study in all the Schools, Institutes and Departments of the University and vary from freshman to seniors. They participate on behalf the UFM in public events and make possible that guests feel welcome in the House of Freedom. Their participation has been outstanding in events like the Mont Pelerin Society Meeting in 2006, Entrepreneurs Forum, International Map Collector Society meeting in 2007, the celebration of Cervantes anniversary, commencement acts, and visits of personalities such as the Nobel Price in Economy, Vernon L. Smith; and the  ex-president of the Spanish government, José María Aznar; for example.

The meeting was held last August 22nd of 2007 at the UFM’s School of Business.
