Ana Alemán at Architectural Biennale in Beijing

One of Ana Alemán’s projects

A project made by Architect Ana Alemán, graduated cum laude in 2002 at the Architecture School of Universidad Francisco Marroquín, was exhibited at the II Architecture Biennale of Beijing celebrated from September 26 to October 6th of 2006.

Alemán participated in the workshop of architect Preston Scott Cohen, in Harvard University, and their works were chosen to participate in the mentioned Biennale.

The project deals with the development of a constructive method for curved surfaces based on the deformation behavior that these surfaces show when being subdivided into several bidimensional patterns.

She also participated in the exhibition titled Emerging Talents, Emerging Technologies displayed at the Museum of World-wide Art in Beijing, with the participation of 48 architects and 24 universities.
