After three Saturdays of activities and, with almost all the team wet from head to toes, the carwash activity organized by the members of the program Impulso al Talento Académico (ITA), of Universidad Francisco Marroquín concluded.

The first carwash to benefit the scholarship program Impulso al Talento Académico, of Universidad Francisco Marroquín, was celebrated on Saturdays from April 14th to the 28th of 2007 with the participation of students, administrative personnel, professors, authorities and UFM friends.

At the UFM, the intention of the Program Impulso al Talento Académico is to form professionals with the capacity to have local and international success; who are prepared to occupy important leading positions and to carry out the mission of Universidad Francisco Marroquín.

This house of study grants a complete scholarship to each one of the students selected through the ITA Program, and covers the expenses of matriculation, quotas and text books during the entire career. In addition, an allowance is granted for study supplies and transportation. The Program also covers the lodging expenses in university residences.

The students who enjoy the benefits of the ITA Program are carefully selected in order to recruit students with extraordinary intellectual capacities and the determination to acquire an excellent professional formation in Business Management, Economy or Law. Another indispensable condition to have access to the program is that those students lack enough economic resources to pay for their studies.

The members of the ITA Program maintain their grades above the average in their respective academic units and, in addition, they demonstrate high qualities of leadership.

In the three days of this activity, that served to fortify the teamwork spirit between all those involved, the participants were members of the ITA Program, other UFM students, administrative personnel, professors and authorities of the University, as well as friends of this house of studies and the Program.
