Second edition of »Areté» 

The new editiioin of Areté

The second edition of the magazine Areté, published by the Education Department of Universidad Francisco Marroquín was presented last November 22nd, 2006.

Siang Aguado de Seidner, director of the Department and main promoter of the magazine, explained that this edition was dedicated to Juan Fernando Cifuentes, from Editorial Palo de Hormigo, who recently passed away.

In this sense, the edition has articles dedicated to Cifuentes written by Margarita Carrera, Luis Aceituno, Méndez Vides and Amable Sánchez.  Likewise, the director of the magazine, Jorge Luis Contreras, mentioned Cifuentes in the first article of this edition.

Additionally, the second number of Areté offers a selection of articles on Language and Literature, Art History, Social Sciences and Education.

It is worth mentioning that, in this occasion, Areté has a new attractive and colorful layout.
