The participants and books after the act |
103 books with a value of more than Q21,000 was handed by the Law School of Universidad Francisco Marroquin to the Ludwig von Mises Library.
The contribution included volumes on several law themes suggested by the Faculty and members of the schools board. Such is the case of commented codes and works on specific topics like property titles, tradition, succession rights, law philosophy, processes, real estate law and others.
The books were handed to Grete Pasch, director of the Library, who was joined by UFM’s president Giancarlo Ibárgüen S., UFM’s general secretary, Ricardo Castillo A. and the treasurer Ramón Parellada; Fausto García and Eva Meléndez, from the Law School, and Adelaida Loukota, from the library, also assisted to the act.
The books are acquired with funds provided by the Law School; as part of their annual work plan, the School budgets the acquisition of law books for the Ludwig von Mises Library. They are handed to the library so everyone can use them.
