Rinconete y Cortadillo, at the UFM

Darío Fernández-Morera, met with UFM professors

Freedom, in  Rinconete y Cortadillo, was the theme discussed by Professor Darío Fernández-Morera, with the participants of the Great Books Seminar, directed by Moris Polanco, at Universidad Francisco Marroquín.

Rinconete y Cortadillo is one of the Exemplar Novels by Miguel de Cervantes, whose work, including Don Quixote, is constantly filled with freedom.  The conference by Fernández-Morera, relating that Exemplar Novel with Austrian Economics is available

Rinconete y Cortadillo is a picaresque satire and they have just analyzed El lazarillo de Tormes, a celebrate work on that gender.

Doctor Darío Fernández-Morera is professor at the Northwestern University; and visited UFM to participate in a colloquy from the series Explorations on Freedom sponsored by this house of studies and the Liberty Fund.
