Stock exchange competition for Business students

Sign up at the UFM’s Business School reception

The SIFE-UFM team has begun, since today Monday May 9th, a stock Exchange competition for the students of the Business School at the Francisco Marroquín University.

The awards are:
First Place:  75% of the contests income.
Second Place: one year subscription to the Harvard Business Review
Tird Place: one year subscription to The Economist

«To participate in this competition you must be an active student of the UFMs Business School, pay the inscription fee, which costs Q100 per participant.  One person can represent several investors», informed Diego Joachín, member of the SIFE-UFM team and promoter of the contest.

«For each quetzal collected for the contest, the UFMs Business School will give another quetzal, therefore duplicating the contests funds», he added.

«The contestants can sign up at the Business School reception, if there is any doubt or comments pleas write us at
simulacionmaestria@gmail.com«, said Joachín.

As always, the competition will be through Market Watch with the system Virtual Stock Exchange.  The competition starts today and ends Friday May 27th.  It includes the traditional stock exchange lectures and visits to Guatemalan enterprises that work on that business segment.
