TAS at the UFM’s Excellence Center

Staff members of Tecnología, Acceso y Seguridad S.A. participated in a team workshop organized by the Excellence Center of the Francisco Marroquín University last July 8th 2006.

Refering to the workshop, the participants said:

It is good, because it helps us in our lives and in our work, since we learn that we can achieve what we set our minds to.It helps us become better persons, especially in the way we think.It’s important to know people and their characteristics.I think its perfect, very well organized, fun and safe.It is a good way to share with our workmates and to learn what we can achieve.It taught us that working as a team and listening to our teammates we can fulfill our goals.I learned that human factor is vital in a corporation and every person is a different world.I was able to learn new ways of doing things fast and efficiently.The ropes camp installations of the Excellence Center are located in a hill behind the Ludwig von Mises Library, that also forms part of the UFMs Arboretum.  More than 2000 persons, including students, professors and administrative personnel from this house of studies and other organizations and businesses have received workshops that include ropes dynamics at the University.
The Excellence Center is an educative project directed to UFM students and external persons to contribute to their integral education, to develop leadership and teamwork skills.
