The Web sites of the Center of Digital Resources New Media and of the Library Ludwig von Mises, of the University Francisco Marroquín, are nominated to receive the Prize the Arroba de Oro 2005 that organizes the Guatemalan newspaper Prensa Libre.

Both sites, the one of
the Library y the one of
New Media are including in the category of Education. The last year, the Web site of
the UFM arrived at
 with the three best ones in the same category. In 2005 the Web site of
the Museum Popol Vuh, also of this house of studies, was including between the finalists.

The winning sites in each category receive the presea that is the symbol of the excellence Web in Latin America, in addition to prizes by more than .000,00 by courtesy of the organizers and sponsors. 

contest has as examining equipment to a group of specialistic leaders of opinion and to the front of the decision making in the cybernetic market, and makes a deep evaluation and objective of the participant sites, they indicated the organizers.

In this stage four international juries and the one premises will review the participant Web pages carefully and will emit their vote for each category and the special prizes. The results are sent directly to the company/signature auditor of international prestige, KPMG, and they are the people in charge to consolidate and to validate the voting later to make delivery to the organizers of the final results, they explained. 

The main elements, that are the base to describe to each site are: design, navigation, content and creativity, which contain from three to five areas to evaluate and you are, as well, are detachhed in the necessary levels of detail, of each one of the elements.
