UFM students met Andrés Oppenheimer

Andrés Oppenheimer, Fernando Estrada and Christian Blank.

Students from Universidad Francisco Marroquín, members of the International Association of Economic and Commercial Sciences (AIESEC), attended a conference lectured by the journalist Andrés Oppenheimer and had the opportunity to speak with him.

Oppenheimer, winner of the Pulitzer Prize and author of Chinese Short stories, visited Guatemala to lecture the conference titled Central America, flirting with foreign investments. The conference was celebrated last February 27th 2007 and was organized by the magazine Estrategia y Negocios.

AIESEC is a global organization that reunites students from economic sciences, business administration, accounting, marketing and engineering.

The students that participated were Christian Blank, Daniela Castillo, Luis Mario Contreras and Fernando Estrada, president of the Association.
