Umich team while working on the project

Eight students of a Masters degree in Architecture from the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning are at the Universidad Francisco Marroquín participating in a course titled Guatebuild.

The visitors are working in the project El Pueblito, under the supervision of professor Jonas Hauptman and the support of the UFM’s Architecture School and professor Rafael Yee.

The project was motivated by the interest in making students advance in the knowledge of concrete construction and design, as well as the desire to research innovative concrete applications to attain sustainable design objectives.

The visitors are Christopher Graham Beach, Daniel Isaac JArcho, Nathan R. Gulash, Melanie Jo Kaba, Janelle Elizabeth Moody, Simon J. Gore, Theresa, Dakin Scherwitz, Todd Mathew Gattie.  They work with UFM students Ana Luisa Alvarado, Andrea Batres, Ana Lida León, Mariandreé Mena, Ana Gabriela Molina and María Inés Barrios.
