Javier Calderón during the lecture of the Declaration at the XII International Conference Against Corruption

From November 15th-18th 2006, the XII International Conference Against Corruption was celebrated in Guatemala; there were around 1200 participants from 160 countries.

Javier Calderón, alumni of the Institute of Political Studies and International Relations participated, on personal behalf, in several workshops and conferences.

During the event the world knew the steps Guatemala has taken towards fighting corruption; and the participants were allowed to exchange ideas on the different mechanisms used to fight this world wide disease.

Javier Calderón was invited to close the event reading the Declaration signed by all the countries that attended the conference.
