Fulbright and LASPAU Scholarships at the UFM

Carmen Foncea and Margaretha Geurts, representing the Fulbright Scholarships and the program LASPAU that the United States Embassy promotes, visited Giancarlo Ibárgüen S., President of the Francisco Marroquín University, to talk about these opportunities for professors and students of this house of studies.

The options are:

Fulbright-Laspau Scholarships for college professors
This program helps develop Guatemalan faculty members, giving post degree studies at the USA with outstanding capabilities and dedicated to college teaching.  The applications are due April 28th 2996.

Fulbright Scholarships for post degree
It offers the candidates the opportunity to have a post degree at an American University.  The Scholarship gives a maximum of two years of financial support, and
