Four groups of students from Colegio Internacional Montessori, participated in teamwork workshops organized by the Excellence Center of Universidad Francisco Marroquín.

One of the students sang opera before throwing herself in the air to ring the bell in an exercise of high ropes; also during one of the workshops, the birthday of a student was celebrated.

The workshop, where a total of 63 students participated, was coordinated by Pili Biba and the facilitators were Carla de Hess, director of the Center, and Karina Bonilla, in addition to Biba.

It was very good, I knew myself better  I liked it a lot! Its a good way to learn about valuesIt inspired me to be a better personI learned to value myselfI learned when to work as a team and when not to. To accept our errorsRespect, self-esteem, confidenceI liked a lot to overcome my fearsIt helped me to expand my limits It helped me to reflect about my own defects and qualities The Excellence Center is an educative project directed to UFM students and external people to contribute to their integral education, developing their teamwork and leadership abilities, explained Carla de Hess, director of the Center.

The facilities of the Excellence Center are in a hill behind the Ludwig von Mises Library that comprises the UFM’s Arboretum. More than 4.500 persons have received workshops that include ropes dynamics in the University, including students, educational and administrative personnel of this house of studies; as well as students from other institutions and company employees.

The workshops were celebrated from April 23rd to the 26th of 2007.
